The Solana Layer
GameCrew’s crypto layer is deliberately small and deliberately playful: the gifts you win are real NFTs on Solana devnet, and that’s it. No token, no trading, no real money.
Why put gifts on-chain?
Section titled “Why put gifts on-chain?”Because bragging rights need receipts.
- Ownership is real. A lambo you won by calling a 90th-minute goal is yours — minted to your wallet, verifiable by anyone.
- Scarcity is provable. Rarity means something when the chain can confirm it.
- Money stays out. Gifts are only ever acquired free inside GameCrew, and nothing has a purchase path or cash value. The chain provides ownership, not a market.
How a trophy gets minted
Section titled “How a trophy gets minted”- You win gifts through the Playful Economy — pre-match gifts, call rewards, pool shares.
- You choose to retire a gift as a trophy — taking it out of play, permanently.
- The app files a claim, and the backend mints the NFT to your wallet on
devnet using Metaplex Core — each trophy is a plain, transferable
mpl-coreasset, no collection gymnastics required. - Claim status is trackable per claim and per wallet until the mint lands.
Every claim references the source match event that earned it — even the on-chain layer follows the product’s honesty rule: everything traces back to real football.
Distribution
Section titled “Distribution”GameCrew is being submitted to the Solana dApp Store, putting a playful, no-real-money football companion in front of the Solana mobile audience.
